Read-only workspaces
When trial or payment ends, the team can still view profiles but cannot save. Boolean history stays writable.
Last updated Aug 18, 2026
A workspace becomes read-only when:
- The trial ended and no plan was chosen
- A canceled or expired subscription passed its paid period
- The subscription is paused
- A payment was fully refunded, or a dispute is open
The banner says Workspace is read-only. Owners are asked to update billing. Everyone else is asked to ping the owner.
What still works
- Open the dashboard and view profiles, notes, and activity
- Revoke pending invites
- Use Boolean history — save, update, and delete your searches
- See the LinkedIn/Google panel (it will refuse to save)
What does not work
- Save or edit profiles, statuses, positions, or notes
- Record new profile activity
- Invite new members
- Accept new invites
How to restore writes
The Owner opens Settings → Billing: choose a plan if there is none (including after a refund or dispute), or update the payment method in the portal if payment needs recovery.
Boolean builder, workspace Boolean history, and local Visited badges stay available. Collaborative profile memory is what the Team plan pays for.
