Trial and billing
Last updated Aug 18, 2026
Billing is per workspace. Only the Owner can choose a plan, open the billing portal, or cancel. Open Settings → Billing.
Plans
One Team product, billed by active seats (people with access, including the owner):
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Monthly | $19 per active seat, each month |
| Annual | $180 per active seat per year ($15/month effective) |
There is no free Team plan. Trial and paid workspaces get the same collaborative memory: LinkedIn/Google workspace panels, dashboard, profiles, statuses, positions, notes, activity, and invitations.
What stays free (Boolean and Visited badges) does not use this plan.
Trial
The trial is 14 days of full access, no credit card.
It does not start when you sign up. Looking around is free. The clock starts when someone saves the first LinkedIn profile.
Until that save, Billing shows Trial ready. After it, Free trial and an end date.
If you choose a plan before any save, there is no trial clock. Saving the first profile later does not add 14 days.
In the last 7 days of an unpaid trial, a reminder appears so the owner can choose a plan before writes lock.

Checkout charges the current number of active members. Three people means three seats.
Finish payment and wait for confirmation
Returning to Modri is not what unlocks the workspace — the confirmed payment is. Billing refreshes from the payment provider. If it is still catching up, wait and refresh.
While a subscription is active, use Billing portal instead of starting a second checkout.
Seats
- Someone accepts an invite — they get access immediately. Extra seats above what you already paid are charged for the remaining days.
- Someone is removed — they lose access immediately. The next bill is lower. There is no refund for unused days this period.
- A pending invite is revoked — seats do not change; they never joined.
If you remove someone and add someone else before billing has caught up, the billed quantity may stay the same. Invites cannot be sent or accepted while the workspace is read-only.
Failed payment, cancel, portal
A failed renewal does not lock the workspace immediately. The team can keep working while the owner updates the card in Billing portal. If payment does not recover, the workspace becomes read-only.
A full refund or dispute makes the workspace read-only right away. A partial refund does not.
Cancel at period end keeps full access through the paid period. Undo cancellation restores the subscription before that date. The portal is for invoices and payment method.
Who sees what
| Person | Billing |
|---|---|
| Owner | Checkout, portal, cancel, undo |
| Everyone else | Can tell billing exists; cannot change it |
Everyone still sees banners (trial ending, read-only, payment recovery) so they know why a save failed. The owner action is always Open billing.
