Save a LinkedIn profile
Last updated Aug 18, 2026
After you finish, the LinkedIn URL is a Profile in your workspace. Anyone who opens the same URL later sees the status and notes.
Before you start
- Modri Chrome extension installed
- Signed in with the same account in the extension and the web app
- A LinkedIn profile (
linkedin.com/in/…)
Open the LinkedIn profile
The Modri panel sits on the page. If this URL is new to the workspace, the panel is empty aside from Status and Position.
Read existing team context
If a teammate already saved this person, you will see their Status, Position, Key notes, and recent Activity. That is the same profile — there is no second copy for the same URL.
Choose Status and Position
Status is outreach progress (New, Contacted, Replied, Rejected, or your own). Position is the role you were hiring for. Either can stay Unassigned.
Add a note and save
Key notes are for what the next sourcer needs: already emailed, not interested, wait until September. Short activity notes are for a quick handoff line.
The first write — status, position, note, or comment — creates the profile. Opening the page does not.
What happens next
The person appears under Profiles. Saving the first profile in the workspace starts the 14-day trial. See Trial and billing.
If something goes wrong
- No panel → Fix the Chrome extension
- Save fails → the workspace may be read-only
- You are on LinkedIn Search, not a profile — open a full
/in/…page
