Quick start

Create an account, install the Chrome extension, and save your first LinkedIn profile in a few minutes.

Last updated Aug 18, 2026

After these steps, one LinkedIn profile is in your workspace and teammates can see it. Signing up does not start the 14-day trial — saving this first profile does.

Before you start

  • Chrome (the extension is Chrome-only)
  • A LinkedIn account so you can open a profile

Create your Modri account

Open Sign up and continue with Google or email. Modri creates a workspace named after you, with starter statuses and positions. You do not name the workspace or pick a pipeline first.

Follow the setup coach

In the app, a checklist appears in the bottom-right (workspace Owner only):

  1. Install the Chrome extension
  2. Open a LinkedIn profile
  3. Save your first profile

Minimize it if you only wanted Boolean. You can invite teammates later.

Install the Chrome extension

Use the store link in the checklist. Pin Modri, then sign in with the same account in the extension. Web login and extension login are separate — both must be the same person.

Open a LinkedIn profile

Go to any linkedin.com/in/… page. The Modri panel should appear on the profile.

Save the profile

Choose a Status (New is fine). Add a one-line note if you already know something. Save. That write creates the profile — opening the page is not enough.

Check the dashboard

Open Profiles. The person you saved should be in the list. Home shows the same activity.

What happens next

The workspace trial is now Free trial for 14 days. Rename the workspace, tailor positions, or invite the desk when you are ready — all skippable.

If you arrived from the public Boolean generator, your draft search can save to workspace history after signup. That does not replace the LinkedIn first-save step for the trial.
